It appears that the child who portrayed Hareem, in the popular Tv serial Humsafar, is all grown up now. A photo of the actor from a few months back has just surfaced on the internet , in which she’s donning a gothic look for a TVC.
Born in 2003, Sara Kashif Rajput, made her debut in showbiz back in 2011 in Humsafar. Her character Hareem was the daughter of the two main protagonists, Ashar and Khirad , played by Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan respectively.
Apart from Humsafar she also played the younger self of the titular character in Tv serial Choti that aired from 2014 – 2015. Other actors in Choti included, Yasra Rizvi, Asma Abbas, and Sanam Chaudhry.
Remember Hareem from Humsafar, well now she’s all grown up and she’s a heart breaker. A recent photograph of the child-star Sara Kashif Rajput surfaced and we’re hit by nostalgia.
It seems as if it was actually the actress herself that posted the image on her Instagram. She’s already posing like a pro. This stirs the debate – when do we get to see more of this actress on our TV screens?
Pakistani productions are notorious for casting people well in their 30s as teens as seen in Ehd-e-Wafa, web series Enaaya, telefilm Rehaai and so on.
So why not cast actual teen stars like Sara Kashif Rajput, Zuhab Khan, Arisha Razi, etc.
Humsafar would definitely want to see ‘Hareem’ back on screen. Both Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan have been missing from the drama scene for quite some time. Maybe it’s time Sara Kashif Rajput takes over the reins.
